SD Encinitas Lions Surf Event for Visually Impaired

San Diego’s Visually impaired community will once again hit the waves at South Ponto Beach.
The Encinitas Lions Club in partnership with Urban Surf 4 Kids will hold their 25th Annual Surfing Clinic for the blind and visually impaired.

Details:
Event Sunday Sept 12th from 8am – 4pm at South Ponto State Beach

Setup Team arrives at 7:30am
Volunteers arrive at 8am

Participants arrive at 9am

We will have a short training and information session at 8:15 am regarding working with visually impaired participants and we will be breaking into teams of 5-7 for maximum safety for each participant.

We will be set up South of the jetty, near Tower 20.
