Ocean Kayaking w/ Everyday California 2/4

Join Urban Surf 4 Kids and Everyday California on a group ocean kayaking adventure! EDCA Guides will take US4K participants and volunteers on a tour of La Jolla Ecological Reserve, a Marine Protected Area that’s home to a thriving underwater ecosystem. Kayakers will also have the opportunity to view La Jolla’s Seven Sea Caves up close!
The experience in whole will take about 2.5 hours. Wetsuits and lockers are provided. EDCA Lifejackets / helmets are required to be worn by kayakers at all times.

Participants: No experience needed. This tour is suitable for youth 5+ years old who are comfortable in the ocean. Caregivers, please sign up for the waitlist below if you are interested in your youth attending. US4K staff will contact caregivers via phone call the week of the event if there is an opening.
Volunteers: Each volunteer will be paired with a participant for this tandem experience. Volunteers will sit in the back seat and control movements of the kayak.
