Park Ambassador Aquatics Program

We are so excited to partner with San Diego Parks Foundation to offer our youth this aquatics-based program that offers a unique paid pathway towards career opportunities with the City of San Diego.
This ten-week program will take place at the Memorial Park Pool and Recreation Center in Logan Heights on Wednesdays from 5:00-7:30 PM from February 21 – April 24, 2024.
Youth will learn safety, CPR / First Aid and swimming skills, AND get paid by the San Diego Parks Foundation while participating.
Youth will have the opportunity to transition into becoming a paid intern with the City of San Diego during the program.
The ten-week program will include a field trip and graduation ceremony.
At the end of the program, youth participants will have the opportunity to apply to be a Pool Guard with the City of San Diego and work in an aquatic facility.
