On Friday night, November 5th, we will embrace an evening of friendship, delicious food, inspiring stories and fantastic music, coupled with surprises and a really fun VIP party.
Hosted by the Mission Beach Women’s Cottage and Duke’s La Jolla, this evening is our biggest celebration of the year and we want to spend it with you!
You see, for the past 50 years, a cultural term has been used throughout Costa Rica to express emotion, happiness and attitude. It is also a term used to say hello and goodbye, or an expression of happy approval like “that’s cool”. That phrase is Pura Vida – Pure Life.
Additionally, every child should live a carefree life of happiness and pure joy. All children, especially children in foster care, deserve a Pura Vida lifestyle of optimism and hope. Join us on November 5th and help us raise funds to bring opportunities for healing, joy, and outdoor adventures for children overcoming trauma.
