2020 Stories of Stoke: Mentor Highlight: Jason and Audrey:

Jason was a first-time attendee at our surf camps in 2020 and right away was partnered up with Audrey, an 11 year old athlete who’s been involved in US4K programs for the past 6 years. Bonding over their shared love of surfing, a special mentoring relationship was formed. Every week, Jason dedicates a few hours of his day to help her improve her surfing skills and has even introduced her to skateboarding. This mentorship is especially meaningful, as Jason is the first adult male to have a presence in her life since her father’s passing. Grab a tissue as this video story will brighten your day.
